CGC membership provides groundwater managers with an opportunity to influence the development of groundwater policy in California. Specifically, CGC membership offers:

Advocacy for and education about groundwater issues through an experienced lobbyist with groundwater expertise and critical relationships with Legislators, the Administration, and staff.

Timely information and inside understanding of water and groundwater issues that are being discussed at the Capitol.

Opportunities to weigh in and influence state policy development, including bond and budget funding opportunities.

A network of other GSAs, water agencies, groundwater managers and technical experts on key issues, challenges, and solutions.

Affiliate Members: Agencies or organizations that act as consultants to Sustaining Members
GSA Members: Groundwater Sustainability Agencies formed as the result of SGMA receive a two-year discounted rate
